Welcome to my online photo gallery.
My photographic travels are primarily across the southwest. especially Arizona and Utah, where I live. Although I have started to travel, with a trip to Patagonia in 2005 (images from that adventure are posted on this site), my main interest lies in the southwest and the Grand Canyon region. My work with Western River Expeditions, offering commerically guided rafting trips through the rapids of the Grand Canyon, provides better opportunties for making images with each passing season, and now I work for Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, Utah as a staff photographer. I find this work of photographing animals at the Sanctuary and on assignment very rewarding spiritually speaking. I hope that my pictures will help get homes for these rescued animals. All photographs presented for sale on this site are printed on archival quality paper and pigment inks. In the process of making each print, every consideration to produce the highest quality photograph is maintained throughout the entire photographic process. Each photograph is printed and mounted with precision and care, and conforms to archival standards.
I do not limit myself to one or two types of photography. I see a picture - I make an image. It is as simple as that. I take what is given to me, be it wildlife, barns, sand dunes or flowers. I live in a beautiful area with many attractions, and I feel as though I have only scratched the surface of photographic possibilities.
Presented within this site are selected images which I feel represent the best of my photographic process, imagery and presentation.
